Charitable WorkRaising funds for good causes
Our Lady’s school community is always ready to extend the hand of assistance to those in need, whether it is local or further abroad. Each year the school will organise several events to raise money for much needed projects.
In the past the school has raised money for the Philippines disaster relief, helping families rebuild their lives, and held a ‘Mad hair Day’ to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
Each year, the pupils of the school take part in the MS READaTHON reading as many books as they can to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis Ireland. It is also a great way to promote literacy in the home.
Occasionally pupils will organise their own event to raise funds for a good cause by selling cakes or hosting a sale-of-work in the school.
