Exploring Windy Arbour
Second Class had a wonderful morning exploring Windy Arbour and learning all about the history and geography of our local area. We saw the Nine Arches Bridge, learned about the Shanagarry Chimney (Old Dublin Laundry) and walked underneath Classon’s Bridge to see the mysterious Rhino in the Dodder in Shanagarry Park. Did you know his name is Woody?
We then walked along the dodder and looked at waterfalls, spotted Weeping Willow trees and had a quick trip to our fantastic local playground. There were many happy faces and tired legs after our long walk!
