Lá Fhéile Bríde
Our school community recently came together to celebrate Lá Fhéile Bríde, a special day that marks the beginning of spring in Ireland and honours the life of Saint Brigid.
Pupils across all classes took part in a range of activities to learn about the traditions associated with the day. They heard stories about St Brigid’s kindness and generosity, and how she became one of Ireland’s most loved patron saints.
Many classes enjoyed making crosses while learning about their significance in Irish culture. Others created beautiful artwork inspired by the themes of spring, new beginnings, and light.
Celebrating Lá Fhéile Bríde was a wonderful way to connect with our heritage and welcome the brighter days ahead. Well done to everyone for their fantastic effort! 🌷
