Lá Glas
Seachtain na Gaeilge
The pupils enjoyed many activities to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge in their classrooms and also whole school events. We had a ceolchoirm on Friday 15th with all the classes performing in Irish for Lá Glas. We had wonderful renditions of Ireland’s Call and the Haka as Gaeilge as well as many other poems and songs. There was a great buzz in the hall and it was wonderful to see the children celebrating many aspects of Irish language and culture.
