The Scream!

This week, our 6th Class pupils took inspiration from Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream to create their own expressive and imaginative artwork.

They explored how Munch used colour, line and emotion to capture a sense of drama and feeling. Pupils discussed how art can express emotions like fear, surprise or excitement, and then used pastels to design their own versions of The Scream.

The results were fantastic — full of bold colours, swirling skies and expressive faces! Each piece is unique and shows how creativity can turn feelings into art.

Our classroom display is now filled with striking and thought-provoking work that captures the energy and emotion of Munch’s masterpiece. Well done to all our talented young artists in 6th Class!
